Netflix has built itself up over the years as one of the largest streaming services in the world. However, the exodus over the years has meant that the service now mainly has to make do with its own films and series. Fortunately, a load of excellent series has recently appeared. Time to highlight them.
1. Beef
We kick off the list with the series in which Steven Yeun and Ali Wong share the screen. The pair will star in brand new drama comedy Beef. In the series, the two play a couple of strangers who get into a fight in a parking garage. War soon breaks out between Danny and Amy.

The argument escalates further and further, with the two becoming increasingly involved in the life of the other. In ten episodes, the series knows how to quickly drag viewers along, making Beef one of the biggest hits of the year for Netflix.
2. You season 4
Hit series You recently returned to Netflix with a fourth season. The sequel to the story of stalker Joe continues in Europe in Season 4. After the events of the third season, the stalker chooses a new life as a professor in London under the name Jonathan Moore.
A new life only turns out to be more difficult than expected, because this time a killer turns up and starts stalking him. Up to the former stalker to discover who is after him and to stop him. The reformed Joe no longer wants to watch as his new friends are killed one by one.
3. The Night Agent
From a series with a new season, we are switching to a brand new series: The Night Agent. This one is about FBI agent Peter Sutherland who works in the White House as a Night Action operator. There he keeps an eye on a phone that has never rang until this suddenly happens during his shift.
As a result, Peter quickly finds himself in a situation where he has to save his country from a mole within the United States government. As if that wasn’t hard enough, he also has to protect a former CEO from the people who killed her aunt and uncle.
4. Shadow & Bone season 2
Not only You was recently provided with a new season to enjoy. Shadow & Bone season 2 has also appeared on Netflix and the second season of the fantasy series is definitely worth watching. The biggest drawback is that the pace of the story is very high.
Still, that doesn’t necessarily have to be a negative point if you like fantasy series and you’ve seen the first season. The characters (lead by Alina Starkov) are like a warm blanket with their return for fans of the books and the first season.
5. The Diplomat
The last series to watch on Netflix now is The Diplomat. In this series we follow Keri Russell’s character Ambassador Kate Wyler. As the new US ambassador to the United Kingdom, Kate’s work starts off right from the start. Shortly after her appointment, she must immediately solve international crises and set up strategic partnerships with England.
Meanwhile, she also has to endure her marriage to diplomat Hal Wyler. The series has been on Netflix since Thursday and with eight episodes does not take up too much of your time. So it’s going to be a fun weekend!
