Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players have discovered a new bug that allows you to duplicate items in your inventory.
One involves fusing an item with the bow, while another allows players to duplicate weapons and shields. Both involve exiting and entering the pause menu at high speed.
Both methods allow for potentially infinite copies of certain items, whether you’re looking for ammo and powerful weapons, or want to sell items for extra Rupees. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players have discovered several bugs with duplicating items.
The first method has been shared on Twitter by the user Benjaninja. Essentially, you fuse the item you want to duplicate into an arrow, drop the bow and equip another, then pause and pause very quickly, either by pressing the + button twice, or B then +.

That pause and pause is the hardest part to get right, but it’s certainly doable. I tried this method myself (on a simple Keese Eyeball, you won’t catch me cheating) and managed to get it working after a few tries.

Another method has been shared by YouTuber PhillyBeatzU. Similarly, this involves the resume and pause cheat, but players must save and reload the game between equipping and dropping items.
I haven’t tested it myself, but as the video shows, players could theoretically duplicate weapons or shields, merge them, and then separate them at a given store for endless versions of the best items in the game.
Of course, Nintendo can fix this, so if you’re interested, you should give it a try sooner rather than later.
