AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) announced the new Ryzen Z1 Series Processors, the latest in high-performance processors for PC handheld gaming consoles.. The Ryzen Z1 Series features two processors, the Ryzen Z1 and Ryzen Z1 Extreme, delivering industry-leading gaming experiences, uncompromising battery life, and graphics based on AMD RDNA™ 3 architecture. For this launch, AMD partners with Asus to unveil the first Ryzen Z1 Series device: the Asus ROG Ally, a premium portable console PC, which can accommodate up to a Ryzen Z1 Extreme Processor.

With support for Windows 11 and other operating systems, Ryzen Z1 Series Processor-based devices can deliver the full range of Windows 11 apps and games. Built on x86 architecture and ready for Windows 11, users of Ryzen Z1 Series devices will also have native access to popular productivity and social software. AMD Ryzen Z1 Processors will be available first on the Asus ROG Ally. Asus will provide more information on the availability and price of the Asus ROG Ally on May 11.
