Call of Duty board game announced

If one premium Call of Duty release per year, plus a mobile spin-off, and Warzone battle royale on top of that, isn’t enough for you, then we have great news for you. The official Call of Duty board game has been announced.

According to the first trailer for the game, which can be seen below, the game is “coming soon” and the Kickstarter campaign is set to launch in late summer 2023.

The project is a collaboration between Call of Duty owner Activision and board game publisher Arcane Wonders.

Get ready for the ultimate tabletop Call of Duty experience!” reads the advertisement accompanying the trailer. “We are excited to announce the upcoming release of Call of Duty: The Board Game, an exciting new strategy game based on the popular video game franchise.

Arcane Wonders told Polygon that the game will be set in the 2019 era of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and will feature weapons and maps that will be familiar to fans of the series.

The base two-player game should cost around $50 when it hits retail, and players will be able to combine two sets for four-player matches.
