Today marks one week since Zelda Tears of the Kingdom was released.. A game to which I have dedicated 40 hours right now and that, for the moment, in a hypothetical personal ranking of the franchise, I would place in second place after Ocarina of Time, a title that in my opinion is still unsurpassed and that possibly will be so forever.
Despite the many virtues of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and being a game that undoubtedly deserves an excellent in any review for all that it presents to us. I think it is time to talk about its technical aspect. I am the first that when a game is excellent it does not pay any attention to the graphic aspect or directly to the technical aspect. To give you an idea, one of my favorite games is Bloodborne and right now playing it on PS4 at 20-30fps is something that brings me cold sweats. A game that marks history and that the performance is not good is not incompatible, but it is a pity.
But it is that gentlemen, Do you think that the technical performance of Zelda: TOTK is good? Think about it for a second, because I don’t. And beware, I don’t care if it looks graphically fair, that’s not where I’m going. what bothers me is the amount of jerks that the game gives, well It is to put together a couple of enemies on the screen or create a somewhat complex structure, that the game gives some pulls that not even in WWE.
I repeat it again, because it is not about generating any type of hate. The game is excellent, a work that reaches its peak, but perhaps it should have been released on the hypothetical Switch 2, because I think it’s a shame to launch a product of such quality with technical problems. I see many users say that the press covers these problems, something that is not how you see in this article. Sometimes it is worth focusing on what is important and the first thing to convey with Zelda: TOTK is that we are in front of a masterpiece. But now it’s time to stop, once the adrenaline has gone down, take out the most critical side a bit to say that this is a shame. Directly I already dream of a remaster of the game at 60 frames on Switch 2, and this with the game already on sale is something that should not happen.
