On April 21, players can finally throw themselves into Dead Island 2. The zombie game that was originally announced in 2014 is ready for launch, and in that regard, developer Dead Silver has revealed the PC requirements.

In the image to the right of the article, you can see what is needed for everything from 30 frames per second and 1080p resolution to 4K and 60 frames per second. Here it goes from relatively simple minimum requirements to requirements for a more robust rig for those who will be playing with all the settings on Ultra.
On its website, the developer has also attached answers to a bunch of questions about Dead Island 2. Among other things, the game will run at 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, compared to 30 frames per second on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Otherwise, there will be no cross-platform play, but you can play across console generations. So Xbox Series X/S with Xbox One and PlayStation 5 with PlayStation 4. Up to three friends can play together, and more information about the multiplayer mode will be revealed in the coming week.
Dead Island 2 is set in Los Angeles, where you, in the role of one of six different characters, are tasked with exterminating the city’s hordes of undead. The game offers heaps of weapons and promises great creativity about how you want to take out the zombies.
