Red Hook Studios festeggia a very important first sales milestone for Darkest Dungeon II (here our review): the roguelite for PC has in fact surpassed the half a million copies sold.
The development team did he know that this figure includes all copies sold since its Early Access launch, however just under half – 230,000 to be precise – were placed in the first week of the full version’s release. To provide a measure of comparison, the first Darkest Dungeon had placed 650 thousand copies from Early Access in the first week of release of version 1.0, however that figure also included the backers of the crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, which in this case there was. The game would then reach the one million mark with the subsequent release on PS4 and PS Vita.
It is therefore very likely that Darkest Dungeon II will reach one million copies sold much faster than its predecessor.
