Diablo IV invites you to a final round of testing before launch

With a month and a half left until the launch of Diablo IV, Blizzard has decided to hold a final beta test. The doors open on May 12, and will keep going until May 14.

As the developer says, the test has been named Server Slam. Here, the servers must be pushed to the limit, to ensure that everything works as it should when Diablo IV gets its official launch.

During Server Slam, players get to try out as a Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue or Sorcerer and fight their way through the game’s prologue and first act. Among the new content comes a bone-chilling boss enemy called Ashava – which players can brave from the evening of May 13.

Otherwise, there is little news to track in this test, but as Blizzard points out, it will still be a slightly different experience. The developer has included all the adjustments that were announced earlier this week. This includes, among other things, overhauls to the game’s dungeons and classes.

Progress from previous beta tests will not be taken forward. If you plan to take the Server Slam test, you must be prepared to start the experience all over again.

Diablo IV launches on June 6, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
