It has been known for years that the Fast & Furious series will end soon. Soon Fast X will be shown in the cinema and then there will be one more film. At least, that’s the plan announced so far.
Vin Diesel now seems to suggest that there will be a twelfth film after all. Fast X and the eleventh film are two parts of the same story, but according to Diesel, after seeing Fast X, the studio suddenly wanted to know if a trilogy was also possible. He told Fandango at the premiere of Fast X.
Michelle Rodriguez also contributed. She said that “every story has three acts”. When asked if Diesel and Rodriguez had secretly confirmed a Fast & Furious 12, Diesel said the pair would be in trouble if he said more.
When is the release of Fast X?
If there is a twelfth Fast & Furious film, we will undoubtedly hear it in the coming years. For the time being, there is at least Fast X to look forward to: it will be released on May 18. The eleventh film should appear in 2025.
