During the autumn of 2020, fans had spotted the Giant Monster News brand for the first time, registered by the top management of the house Zenimaxnow part of the Microsoft family.
Since then, no official communication has come from the company regarding a project named in this way. Intellectual property, however, doesn’t seem to have disappeared into thin air. To suggest it is in particular an interesting sighting. The Zenimax team has in fact proceeded to resubmit a registration request linked to the mystery “Giant Monster News”. Dated 22 May 2023, the latter is linked to the videogame world, with a common identification code console, PC and/or mobile productions.
For the moment, Zenimax still does not receive any official statement regarding the meaning of this brand, which appears rather unusual. Difficult to make hypotheses at this stage, with far too fragmented information available. All that remains is therefore to be patient, in the hope that the next communication appointment at Zenimax will bring updates on this front as well. The parent company of Bethesda, moreover, will return to dialogue with the public on the occasion of the highly anticipated Starfield Direct and Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023.
In the fall of last year, Todd Howard had anticipated being enthusiastic about a new mobile game in development at Bethesda, but – in retrospect – it is likely that he was referring to the already debuted Mighty DOOM. What could be the mysterious “Giant Monster News”?
