Now available for download, God of War Ragnarok patch v.04.02 brings a series of improvements to all Sony consoles. Update highlights include bug fixes and game optimization tweaks on PS4.
According to notes released by Santa Monica, the hotfix eliminates audio failures (menu music and dialogue lines) and combat, especially in the fights against Gná and Björn. Additionally, issues with viewing equipment, buying, selling, and upgrading have been handled by the studio.
Other new features in the patch include fixes to the Muspelheim camp, UI, and tracking for the upgrade gear to max level trophy. Finally, the patch brought fixes to the loading time on PS4 and the appearance of post-cinematic NPCs.
