The sequel to Honkai Impact 3rd will be released on April 26 for PC, Android and iOS. Those who want to get started on time can start the preload on all the platforms mentioned. While the installation runs on Android and iOS devices via the well-known app stores, on the PC you have the choice between the Epic Games Store and your own MiHoYo client.
Honkai: Star Rail Launch Trailer Introduces First Characters
For the release, MiHoYo once again intensively beats the advertising drum and publishes a launch trailer that is more than one and a half minutes long. In this, the makers briefly and concisely present various characters whose roles you can slip into in the finished game.
Similar to Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail uses a Free2Play system Gacha-Mechanic. In other words: With the help of a certain currency, you can gradually unlock new characters and outfits, but you are tied to a gambling factor. This should work again without using real money, but if you reach for your wallet, you can probably significantly reduce the time required.
It remains to be seen how Honkai: Star Rail’s financing system will work out in detail until tomorrow’s release. Only then will it be seen whether MiHoYo can meet its own quality requirements, with which it once did Genshin Impact knew how to convince in our test.
