Developer Dramatic Labs has announced that the interactive storytelling adventure Star Trek: Resurgence will launch on May 23 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. Direct sequel to the live-action series Star Trek: The Next Generation, the title will tell a story from two perspectives.
According to the description (via Gematsu), the game will take fans into the middle of a workers’ revolt. After the peace of galactic civilization is threatened by rebellion, Starfleet decides to intervene, recruiting diplomat Jara Rydek to find a solution and discover the source of tensions.
In addition to the recruit led by Ambassador Spock, Carter Diaz will be the second point of view of Star Trek: Resurgence. Just like Rydek, the engineering crew member will need to make difficult and critical decisions that promise to offer dramatic consequences with each scene.
