One of the biggest and most beloved gaming conventions in the world is finally back. For the first time since 2019, Blizzcon will be held live at the Anaheim Convention Center, November 3-4.
BlizzCon 2020 was canceled due to the corona virus pandemic, but was organized in an online format as “BlizzConline” in February 2021. BlizzCon has been in hibernation ever since. During this period, Blizzard also found itself at the center of many controversies, such as lawsuits for discrimination, sexual harassment and poor working conditions.
After a long hiatus, Blizzard has officially announced Blizzcon 2023, which will take place live at the Anaheim Convention Center, November 3-4. Blizzard added that they will announce more details about the event schedule in the next few months.

For now, we know that the Overwatch World Cup finals will take place during the conference, and in addition we can expect announcements for World of Warcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, Overwatch (PvE maybe?), or maybe even a brand new IP.
“Whether you want to make new friends, meet your online friends, or just enjoy the beautiful worlds we’ve created, BlizzCon is the place for you. Our players and fans are the reason BlizzCon exists. We can’t wait to see you all again,” Blizzard stated.
