Only yesterday Ed Boon had confirmed the new episode of Mortal Kombat, with a reveal set for 3 pm today, May 18, 2023.
After all, the first information boded well, although the official announcement has now made things clear.
The game will see the light on September 19, 2023. Mortal Kombat 1 and will see historical figures such as Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Shang Tsung, Johnny Cage, and many others.
The console versions of Mortal Kombat 1 are set up by NetherRealm – i.e. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S – while QLOC is developing the Steam and Epic Games Store versions of the game.
Shiver Entertainment e Saber Interactive instead they are developing the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
The Kombat Pack will contain a skin for the Johnny Cage character with the likeness of the famous actor and martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme (available at launch), early access to six new playable characters and five new Kameo fighters (available post-launch).
