Diablo IV’s hardcore mode promises to be a really heavy experience, especially in PvP. According to Adam Fletcher, director of communities at Blizzard, anyone who is killed in combat will lose the character permanently within the game.
The information was confirmed on Fletcher’s social networks after an internet user asked him about it. He bluntly replied as follows:
Permadeath. https://t.co/ZxRz4eE5GX

Riz: I don’t know if this has been mentioned yet, but if you’re playing PvP in Diablo IV’s hardcore mode and you die, is it permadeath or…?
Adam Fletcher: Permanent death.
In short, anyone exploring the Fields of Hate to collect shrapnel and other items while trading blows with other players will need to be on their toes. If killed in these situations, your items and all progress are gone forever.
Diablo IV is ready to launch on April 17th. The premiere will take place on June 6 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
Diablo IV will have another round of open tests in May
A new battery of tests for the public to enjoy the gameplay of Diablo IV will be promoted by Blizzard. It is scheduled for May 12, for the company to verify the infrastructure of the servers for the launch. Stay tuned by clicking here!
