Released in December 2022 for PC, Predecessor, a MOBA produced by Omeda Studios, is on its way to consoles. The title will have versions for PS4 and PS5 still in 2023, according to the company’s announcement.
Merging elements of shooting games with a third-person perspective, the game is a relaunch of Paragon, an old Epic Games game canceled in April 2018. With the right to crossplay and shared progression between platforms, the company’s promise is to deliver an experience immersive to players:
Omeda Studios is committed to delivering the best console experience, combining the high-quality gameplay and features that made our early access PC success, and combining powerful console-specific optimizations.
Previously, Predecessor (or Paragon) was available for free on the PS Store. However, it’s unknown when early access for the MOBA will end and whether Omeda will promote the title as a free-to-play or paid experience. That way, we can only keep an eye on the upcoming announcements.
Predecessor can be wishlisted on the PS Store
With a release date to be defined, Predecessor already has its page created on the PS Store. There, you can add it to your Wish List and find out when it becomes available for purchase (or download) on the platform.
