Lieferando, actually known as a restaurant delivery service with ubiquitous Katy Perry advertising, wants to expand and is therefore starting a collaboration with MediaMarkt. From now on you can therefore use gamepads, mice or other electronics accessories order from Lieferando and should be delivered in about 35 minutes.
PlayStation 5: Controller broken? Replacement now comes with Lieferando
The experiment starts first only in Berlin, but if successful, one is certainly ready for an expansion of the service. In addition to the short delivery time, the time span in which the service is available is also advertised: Between 8am and 11:45pm you can now order PlayStation 5 controllers, cables, connector strips and other small electronic parts within the Berliner Ring.
With around 100 items Lieferando wants to supply you, all of which are more or less part of everyday needs, as stated in an official press release. The short delivery time 35 minutes should be tempting, especially in the case of spontaneous failures: If your gamepad or mouse suddenly gives up the ghost at 10 p.m., you will receive a replacement in half an hour and can continue playing relaxed.
There are no delivery costs, but there is one Service fee from 89 cents and one minimum order value from 10 euros. If you only need one mouse for 4.99 euros, you either have to buy three at once or throw a few cables in the electronic shopping cart. The product prices should be based on the online offers from MediaMarkt, a PlayStation 5 controller, for example, costs 69.98 euros.
It remains to be seen whether the new offer will be accepted and then offered outside of Berlin at some point. Feel free to write in the comments whether you could imagine using the service or not.
