Trainers will be able to face off against: Powerful Dark Raid Bosses and have the chance to capture new Pokémon companions, provided they defeat the boss of course. Players will be able to meet up with their friends: for a better chance of victory in Dark Raids. The Team GO Rocket will control a large number of Gyms: those that remain unscathed will be able to continue to host other raids. Trainers will not be able to participate in dark raids: using remote raid passes. In addition, these raids will not grant equipment bonuses to obtain Honor Balls. The bosses of the three and five star dark raids: they will become enraged while you are fighting them, increasing their attack and defense. You can subdue the bosses of Dark Raids: Using Purified Gems, a new item you can craft from Dark Shards. Dark Shards are Mysterious Gem Pieces that can be dropped by Team GO Rocket. When using a Purified Gem in a Dark Raid: The Enraged Raid Boss’s Attack and Defense will be temporarily lowered. So it can give you the perfect opportunity to attack. You and your companions may use more than one Purified Gem during a Dark Raid. If you use it at the same time, its effects will stack.
