Recently, Humanity was released commercially on PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and directly in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium for subscribers. A frankly unique puzzle game that has already conquered the press.
Have faith in humanity
The marvelous video game industry has made room for atypical studios, whose creations do not go unnoticed. This is exactly the case with Enchancea firm founded by Tetsuya Mizuguchi in 2014 in the United States, whose spearhead is to develop titles that are hypothetical to say the least: on owes him video games like Rez Infinite or the acclaimed Tetris Effect.
Determined to express its creativity again, the studio has just given birth to Humanity after several years of development. A title exclusive to PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, PSVR2 compatible (you can play it without) and whose principle revolves around… human flows.
You have to see it to believe it, but Humanity actually bases its concept on humanity. It actually consists of many puzzles that will have to be solved by playing with hundreds of individuals, making them cross paths and trying many manipulations in convoluted levels. A kind of largely revisited Lemmings.
A masterful welcome
Released only two days ago the game has the particularity of being released directly in the PlayStation Plus Extra and the PlayStation Plus Premium, for all subscribers concerned. If this is your case, then you can download the game and play it right now and, even better, you should enjoy: the average on Metacritic is currently 85/100 from the press…and 9.3/10 from players, as of this writing.
Here are some excerpts from reviews:
An incredibly clever puzzler that would be perfectly welcome if it were just a 3D clone of Lemmings, but it quickly evolves into something much more imaginative and unpredictable. – Metro GameCentral, 9/10
Humanity is a phenomenal debut title that finds creative new ways to shake up the puzzle-platforming genre, and since it’s free on day one for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, there’s no reason to skip this. essential title. – Screenrant, 4,5/5
Humanity is a beautiful, modern reimagining of Lemmings that feels as esoteric and artistic as previous Enhancer games, while ambitiously striding into new ground for the action-puzzle genre with the crackle of countless little feet. – IGN, 9/10
Good news for PlayStation gamers! Have you played it and if so, what did you think of it?
