Among the most loved FromSoftware soulslike ever Shadows Die Twice ax it definitely has a special place.
Without taking anything away from Elden Ring (you can retrieve the Launch Edition for fast delivery on Amazon) the title in question still has its why.
Now, while one fan has decided to imagine what a Sekiro 2 made in Unreal Engine 5 would be like, many are hoping for one of his official return.
As also reported by GamesRadar, Sekiro could make an appearance at the next one PlayStation Showcasebut in the form of… anime.
You got it right: Sekiro Shadows Die Twice could be the next video game to receive a television adaptation in the form of an animated series.
That’s according to a brief leak from Twitter user ‘oecuf’, who predicts that a Sekiro anime, apparently in the works at an as-yet undisclosed Japanese studio, will be revealed soon, possibly as early as next week’s PlayStation Showcase.
Always oecuf has recently correctly predicted the release of an anime – later confirmed – for the Medalist manga. We’ll see if the insider has seen us right this time too.
The hope, however, is that if a Sekiro animated series is indeed announced, this could serve as a forerunner for a return of the franchise, perhaps with an official sequel on PS5. Hope, never like these cases, is always the last to die.
After all, it seems that on the occasion of the next PlayStation Showcase we will see some beautiful ones, both “big and small”.
Staying on the subject, months ago the Chinese developer Papergames and 17ZHE Studio showed 45 minutes of videos taken from Project The Perceiver, a game that unceremoniously refers to Sekiro.
But that’s not all: a few weeks ago we had the opportunity to review Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, another souls set in the Ancient Orient that is truly worthy of attention.
