Project Leonardo, presented during CES this year, already has a confirmed name and interface.
Following the example of Microsoft’s Adaptive Controller, earlier this year Sony revealed its own version of a control system that could adapt to different capabilities.
Back then only the project’s code name, Project Leonardo, was shown and announced, but this week Sony finally showed the controller in action.
Access Controller is the definitive name of this new peripheral, which allows you to customize the distribution of the buttons, the use of different control methodologies and even combine several devices at the same time, each one with its own structure.
The controller was presented with an extensive video, in which not only software engineers but also the creators of some of the console’s leading games testify, talking about initiatives to ensure accessibility.
All buttons on the controller are replaceable, and via four auxiliary connectors you can connect additional buttons, analog sticks and more.

In the case of the interface, users will be able to create customized configurations and with a certain profile that includes the orientation of the control, the buttons and the sensitivity, among other options.
The announcement of the details coincides with Accessibility Day, but there is no confirmation of the release date or the price yet.
