Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – Here you will find three particularly exciting Easter Eggs
While we can’t wait to let you in on the secrets and Easter Eggs Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has to offer, we want a clear one at this point Spoiler alert for all those who would prefer to discover the title free of external influences and all for themselves.
For all other fans of the films and the franchise itself, here are three hilarious references that we particularly enjoyed. Also included: a frenzied rancoras Luke Skywalker himself once faced him, a us well known vehicle as well as particularly interesting drawings of a posing mogu…
#1 Luke’s bone trick will help you against the rabid rancor
We’ve known since Return of the Jedi, at the latest, that a belligerent rancor isn’t something to be sneezed at. Here the young Luke Skywalker is confronted with such a specimen. But just as the beast threatens to devour him, he unceremoniously sticks a huge bone down its hungry gullet.
Also in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor you have the pleasure of an aggressive Rancor as one of the legendary bosses to meet. He’s just waiting in his cave for a feast to spring up in front of his gun. So that you don’t end up as monster fodder, you can easily use the trick that we know from Luke in the scene described. Use your power and throw the big, white bone that you find near the beast into its greedy mouth.
#2 Familiar vehicle that Anakin flew in the movies
Our next Easter Egg should also elicit at least a nostalgic smile from Star Wars fans in Jedi: Survivor: Around Coruscant you can see a not exactly unknown flying object, which Anakin Skywalker once maneuvered unerringly through the air in the attack of the clone troopers during a nerve-wracking chase, track down.
This is specifically the yellow speeder that can be found in the game, now obsolete and well hidden under a tarpaulin. How he got there remains questionable, after all, Anakin wasn’t his original owner at all, rather he just “borrowed” him. Even later in the game, on Koboh, another of the six planets of Jedi: Survivoryou can rediscover such a frighteningly similar-looking speeder.
#3 From artistic battle droids to painterly mogu motifs
One of the funniest Easter Eggs that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has to offer can be found in a kind of secret room, which you can access through a slippery corridor that is more than two minutes long. That is in Harvest Ridge and to find him, you must first climb up the ceiling vines in a cave, and then squeeze through a tiny passage.
But once you’ve done this, you’ll see a sight you won’t soon forget: In the middle of the cave, particularly artistic type B1 battle droids are holding a drawing course. Their motif: a lasciviously posing mogu, lolling in front of them in the finest nude painting style.
In addition to the Easter Eggs and secrets we have presented that you can find in the Fallen Order-successor, there are of course a number of other funny allusions in the second part. We don’t want to tell you at this point what they are, after all it’s the most fun to track them down yourself.
On the other hand, if you’re wondering whether Respawn’s second round is really worthwhile (not only) for franchise fans, we have the right answer with us our in-depth review of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor ready. And what you be sure to know before playing should, we will of course also tell you.
