“Doraemon” is a franchise whose anime carries more than 40 years active, and throughout all this time we have not only seen countless new episodes about the life of Nobita and that distinctive cosmic cat, but also large-scale scenarios in film format. And that is what I am here to talk to you about today: one of the best movies that exist about “Doraemon”.
Keep in mind that most of the movies are quite a few years old, and either they were licensed in the past or they never got to be as such. For this reason, you will find many of them uploaded to websites such as DailyMotion.
10 – Doraemon and the great adventure in Antarctica
This “Doraemon” movie takes Nobita and his friends to an adventure through a lot, a lot of cold. With the premise that the Earth was completely covered in ice hundreds of millions of years ago, the film will see the protagonists looking for a place to get rid of the heat of Japan, and they will end up finding a paradise that will give them to carry out all kind of fun activities.

This “Doraemon” movie shows us Nobita in one day when he finds a small plant on the mountain. Nobita wishes to be able to plant it at home, something that, however, her mother does not allow. 7 – Doraemon, the movie. Nobita’s new dinosaur
This film (which is a remake of an old film in the franchise) tells the story of how Nobita accidentally finds a fossilized dinosaur egg one day. Thanks to Doraemon’s inventions, they will manage to take care of the egg to the point that a dinosaur will hatch from it, which they will end up raising. Eventually they decide to return the dinosaur to its prehistoric times, but they will have to end up protecting the entire lineage from a series of future hunters VERY interested in them.
6 – Doraemon, the movie. Nobita’s New Dinosaur (2006)
The original version of the remake of ‘Nobita’s new dinosaur’ (which is actually, in turn, another remake of an even older version). These two feature films are by far some of the most successful in the entire “Doraemon” movie history, and as such are among audience favorites in both their modern and classic versions. On the other hand, although the remake starts in a very similar way to this version, both develop the plot in a considerably different way (so yes, you can watch both movies with no problem).

This “Doraemon” featurette takes place after Nobita decides to do something he will later regret: turn Earth into a world where science and technology are completely replaced by the use of magic (although it’s not that Nobita is too good at it). With this new reality, one day a professor who studies magic warns them that ‘The Underworld’ seriously threatens Earthwhich will lead Nobita and company to embark on an adventure to protect the planet.
4-Doraemon. Nobita and the steel troops
Suddenly, Doraemon and Nobita see one day how pieces of robot begin to fall from the sky. Together they decide to put all the pieces together and rebuild the robot in the mirror world.. However, it turns out that the robot belongs to an alien group planning an invasion of Earth. Doraemon and Nobita must find a way to stop such a catastrophe from hitting their home planet.

This CGI featurette of “Doraemon” is a retelling of the beginnings of the two characters. This is how the figure of Sewashi, Nobita’s grandson, is introduced in a future that feels depressed by the human failure that is his grandfather. That is why he will travel in time with “Doraemon” himself to make him help Nobita in his day to day. A new beginning that had tremendous success among Japanese (and international) fans.

Obviously These are not all the “Doraemon” movies that exist, because at the numbering level one will come to find that there are up to more than 40 listings. However, it is a list that I have created with the idea of collecting the top 10 films with the best collective criticism regarding the cosmic cat. As you can see, the CGI ‘Stay with me Doraemon’ movies were a tremendous success, so give them a try even if they are not in traditional animation style.
