The Creepy Syndrome is an interesting anthology of minigames that are linked together through a consultation with the psychiatrist.
The words “anthology” and “video games” were never really allied. In cinema and literature, there are plenty of examples, but in the video game category, this concept began to be exploited recently, with clear examples such as Dread X Collection, which we mentioned in another note a few days ago. Today, the publisher JanduSoft and the developer Boomfire Games they bring us The Creepy Syndrome.
This game is an anthology where each of the games are interconnected, in some way, with each other. We begin in what appears to be a psychiatric office. The analyst offers us several games to solve, and each of these games has a meaning that is tied to our own behavior. As we progress through the query, With games revealing different facts about our personality and our past, everything starts to get more confusing.. Who are we really? Why are we in that place?
The Creepy Syndrome presents each minigame with a different artistic style, always based on the “pixel-art” concept. We will be able to see retro styles, Atari style, Game Boy style, and many others. The game is scheduled to launch on April 27 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. The PC version is not yet known when it will be available or why it does not come out on the same date.
