Telltale Games has confirmed the exact release date of The Expanse: A Telltale Series, the new narrative adventure that will adapt the popular space science fiction series for television. This game was originally announced in the summer of last year, at which time it was already targeted for the summer of this year for its release. Finally it will be playable from July 27 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Of course, as it is an episodic game, what will be released that day will be the first chapter of The Expanse: A Telltale Series. The following episodes will be published every two weeks starting on July 27; In total there will be four chapters included in the price of the game ($39.99 for its standard edition). It can already be added to the wish list of the Epic Games Store and PS Store (it will not appear on Steam at the moment).
It will have a DLC included in its Deluxe Edition
In addition to the standard edition, The Expanse: A Telltale Series will also have a Deluxe Edition for $44.99. What this version will include is almost a mystery, although we do know that as an additional advantage for the reservation you will get early access to the game that will allow you to play 24 hours in advance. It has also been confirmed that there will be a DLC, although no details have been given beyond that it will be included in the Deluxe Edition.
The Expanse: A Telltale Games is a narrative adventure whose plot takes place before the events that are narrated in the television series. We will put ourselves in the shoes of Camina Drummer, also played here by Cara Gee, as she explores the dangerous confines of the Belt aboard the Artemis. As a good game from Telltale Games, you will have to make difficult decisions while looting shipwrecks in zero gravity, surviving a mutiny or fighting terrifying pirates.
