Not long now, then it will appear The Lord of the Rings: Gollum from the Hamburg developer Daedalic. Shortly before release, the team now has the system requirements revealed, which are quite crisp.
In the previous trailers and also in our preview Gollum’s solo adventures didn’t give the impression of being a graphically demanding endeavor. Nevertheless, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum requires quite a bit of performance, as the system requirements now reveal.

They are primarily penned by Nvidia, who are working with Daedalic on DLSS and RTX for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. For this reason, only Nvidia cards appear in the requirements, but AMD equivalents are also listed, at least in part, on the Steam product page.

New trailer shortly before release
In line with the system requirements, there is also a new trailer for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which wants to demonstrate the visual strengths of the game. The focus is on RTX support, although the video, which is just over a minute long, does not compare to “RTX off”.
If you’re still interested in Gollum’s journey, you won’t have to wait much longer. After some postponements, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be released on May 25, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. One Implementation for the Nintendo Switch should follow at a later date.
