And the world seems to agree with him – the game has a 96 on Metacritic and is selling like hotcakes.
In just three days, it conquered the mythic and unattainable target of ten million units sold for many studios. This allows the game to proudly pin several medals on its chest: It is the fastest-selling title of The Legend of Zelda series in its entire existence, and also the fastest-selling Switch game in Europe. Within Europe, Tears of the Kingdom claims another first, as the fastest selling game from Nintendo.
