As for the expansion, we know that the Gloomrot biome is a colossal new zone with two distinct regions twisted by the research of some sinister science. This is one of many revamps to the already vast Vardoran area, offering more content to explore and conquer. With all this extra space, there’s more to do in the game now; V Rising’s vampiric gameplay has been enhanced with new items, enemy types, combat options, and gameplay features:
Build epic castles – With this update comes multi-level castles, the new territory system and radical improvements to the construction and decoration of your lair! You finally have the tools to create a mighty citadel worthy of your power.
Welcome to Gloomrot – A huge new zone with two unique areas intertwined in the pursuit of cruel science. Travel through noxious valleys and thundering plateaus, facing grotesque experiments and robotic marvels born from the twisted minds of Trancendum.
Explore a renewed world – Vardoran has been reinvented! From beautiful new landscapes that harbor terrifying and mystifying new enemies to the cursed and suffocating fog that distorts the experience of the Cursed Forest, you can discover the human-infested lands as if it were your first time again.
Evolved fights – Face these new threats with an ascended spell system that has been revamped to make each school of spells unique, including the new Storm magic. Modify your magic with new magical jewels. Cut down waves of enemies with crushing blows from the greatsword or opt for devastation with black powder with the dual pistols.
