In what world position would the PlayStation community in Brazil be in relation to the number of players? A survey by the GameDiscoverCo website showed our country in 8th position based on (public) accounts created on the PlayStation Network.
The division by nation was made on three current market platforms: PlayStation, Xbox and PC. However, before consulting the charts, it is good to keep a few things in mind:
As highlighted in the article, the dominance of the US in the survey shown below is largely due to its population density. After all, the North American country has almost five times the population of the United Kingdom, France and Germany, for example. So, taking into account one division per 1,000 people, the level is not that far from the European continent;
Saudi Arabia’s growth in the sector is largely due to the offer of great localized games for the local language. Along with the United Arab Emirates, almost 6% of PSN accounts are linked to the region;
When comparing platforms, be aware: the percentage of PlayStation players in Brazil is measured against the number of global players only from sony, that is, the 4.3% of the Japanese company should not be compared with the 4.9% of Steam, for example. This would not deliver an exact audience distribution/ratio, nor does it suggest that any of them lead the overall gamer following here;

Sony has also spoken to the PlayStation community in Brazil
In a document used in May 2022, the PlayStation community in Brazil was also mentioned at a Sony meeting. According to the data, players in our country are the eighth largest PS4 fanbase. See more information here!
