Already within its closed beta phase Ubisofts Call of Duty-Competitor, XDefiant, reached its first major milestone. For this reason, enthusiastic beta players are now also rewarded.
Originally, the test run was only supposed to last until this weekend, but the team shooter has blossomed into a serious hit within a very short time, since its launch on April 13th. This is also proven by his full player numbers.
XDefiant: Over a million enthusiastic beta players will be rewarded – test period extended
Over a period of around ten days, XDefiant recorded an onslaught of more than a million players: an impressive and, above all, encouraging milestone for the developers, which some titles don’t even scratch for their full-fledged release. And Ubisoft is accordingly grateful: the beta phase has now been expanded by others 48 hours extendedto give the enthusiastic testers a little more time with their beloved CoD alternative.
🎉 We’ve heard the requests and are extending the Closed Beta for an additional 48 hours! 🎉
The Closed Beta will now end on Tuesday, April 25th at 11 PM PT.
Be sure to get those extra matches in and lets us know your feedback!

It was already indicated before that one could imagine extending the beta period. But now we are certain. You can explore XDefiant’s critically acclaimed maps until tomorrow Tuesday, provided you have a beta key. These are no longer redistributed, but were previously comparatively easy to get via Twitch and various giveaway campaigns.
With the end of the test phase on April 25th, the triumphant march of the exciting shooter spectacle will probably come to an end for the time being and we will have to be patient until its release, which is supposed to take place before the end of this year. In the meantime, it might be worth taking a look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, where the third season has just started.
